Job description

Our client in Chino, Ca. is looking for a Registered Nurse to care for their patients in a correctional facility.
Pay Rate:

  • Hourly Rate: $60.00
  • Schedule: 8 Hour Shifts/ 5 Days a week - Days/Evenings/Nights Available 
  • Full-Time Position Only


Shifts Available Currently:

  • 10pm to 6am
  • 2pm to 10pm
  • 12pm to 8:30pm


Duties:

  • Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care.
  • Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians.
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
  • Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patient’s charts.
  • Adjust and administer patient’s medication(s) and provide treatments according to the physician’s orders.
  • Provide instant medical care in emergencies.
  • Supervise and train LVN's and nursing assistants.
  • Expand their knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc. 


Requirements

  • Must have at least 1 year RN experience within the last 3 years
  • Full-time
  • Must have a current and active RN license
  • Must have a current and active BLS from American Heart Association
  • Must have clean background
  • A valid nursing license.
