Aircraft Manufacturing Manager - FAL

We're seeking an experienced Final Assembly Line Manufacturing Manager to lead production operations within an FAA Part 21 aircraft manufacturing environment. This role provides hands-on leadership for large production teams and ensures safe, efficient, and compliant final assembly operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all Final Assembly Line (FAL) activities
  • Assign and manage personnel across assembly stages to meet production goals
  • Ensure compliance with FAA Part 21, AS9100, and company PIS requirements
  • Partner with Quality, Engineering, Planning, and FAA designees
  • Support FAA audits, conformity inspections, and First Article Inspections
  • Drive safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead, coach, and develop teams while fostering a culture of accountability

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
  • Experience managing teams of 50+ employees
  • Strong knowledge of FAA Part 21 and aerospace manufacturing
  • Lean, Six Sigma, and AS9100 experience required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Compensation for this position starts at a base salary range of $90,000 - $125,000 plus eligibility for an annual target bonus. Any prospective offer will take into account the overall experience the successful candidate brings to the role. Offers to selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.
