Job description


FlexStaff is hiring a contracted Assistant Project Manager to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will assist with all aspects of case administration.
On-site: New Hyde Park, NY
Hours: 8:30a.m - 5:00p.m Monday to Friday 30 min lunch
Hourly Rate: $25.00 an hour
Assignment: 10 weeks with possibility of extension
Job Duties:
  • Ensure timely completion of data entry, call center, website and claims analysis tasks.
  • Maintains acceptable working knowledge of claims and correspondence processing including a basic understanding of settlement protocol.
  • Tracks and manages error patterns and implements appropriate solutions.
  • Ensures timely processing of all documents.
  • Documents internal audits and other internal quality assurance activities.
  • Evaluates audit and quality assurance findings and initiates corrective actions.
  • Assures ongoing compliance with quality and client regulatory requirements.
  • Enhances the organization's reputation by taking ownership for quality and accuracy of output.
  • Work with other team members to resolve processing errors quickly and efficiently and escalate issues to team leaders as needed.
  • Accurately record information from claim and inspection forms into proprietary database.
  • Identify trend issues and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Compile reports as directed by team leader.
  • Investigate issues and collaborate with other team members as directed.
  • Rely on experience and sound judgement to plan and accomplish goals.

Qualifications
  • Previous project management and/or administrative experience is preferred, but not required
  • Legal industry interest and/or experience is a plus
  • Ability to multitask
  • Type 55+ WPM w/ 100% accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive, 'can-do' attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Outstanding customer service
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook and high proficiency in excel required.
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours a week)
  • Exceptional Attendance and Punctuality
