Summary

Temporal is shaping the future of application development by enabling organizations to build, scale, and run resilient applications. A Fortune 15 Financial Services institution has adopted Temporal as a firm-wide orchestration standard, and we are seeking an Account Executive, Majors based in Dallas, Texas to own and grow this strategic relationship.

Temporal is already in production at one of the most complex enterprises in the world. Your job will be to expand an existing successful deployment into a firm-wide platform. You will drive adoption of new Temporal use cases across the firm's lines of business, deepen technical trust with the engineers and architects who run mission-critical systems, and convert that trust into durable, expanding consumption.

This role is designed for a seller who excels at developing deep, long-term relationships within a complex enterprise environment. Rather than focusing on logo acquisition, the opportunity centers on expanding and scaling a highly strategic account over multiple years. Dallas-area candidates are strongly preferred, as consistent in-person engagement with the customer's Plano-based technology organization is critical.

Your Day

You would be responsible for driving adoption of new Temporal use cases at a Fortune 15 financial services institution. A typical week spans deep technical conversations with software engineers and architects, working sessions with engineering leaders to map Temporal to their priorities, and executive alignment with senior technology stakeholders. You will navigate a matrixed organization where dozens of decision-makers and overlapping initiatives compete for attention. You win by turning production wins into executive sponsorship, and executive sponsorship into the next wave of adoption.

You will partner closely with solutions architecture, developer success, and product to ensure every new use case lands and succeeds in production, because adoption depth, not signature count, is how this account grows.

What You'll Do
  • Own and grow the client relationship, expanding Temporal's footprint across new lines of business, teams, and use cases
  • Develop and execute a strategic account plan to drive net-new use-case adoption within a large, matrixed enterprise
  • Engage software engineers, architects, and technical stakeholders to understand their needs and position Temporal effectively across a wide range of workloads
  • Navigate complex technical discussions and align Temporal's capabilities with customer priorities and production realities
  • Build and nurture quality relationships across multiple levels of the organization, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the adoption lifecycle
  • Partner with customer success, solutions architecture, and product teams to ensure each new use case reaches production and delivers measurable outcomes
  • Identify, expand, and close new use-case commitments, driving growth in consumption and breadth of deployment
  • Adapt account strategy continuously to the dynamic priorities of a Fortune 15 enterprise in a rapidly evolving market

Compensation
  • The estimated pay range for this role is $300,000 - $350,000 OTE (50/50 split)
