1st Shift Order Selector โ€“ Temp-to-Hire!

A well-established company that manufactures and distributes products in Fairfield that is a temp-to-hire and seeking someone to start ASAP!

Position Details:

Seeking a Sit-down Forklift Operator that is available to start quickly. This is a 1st shift position with the hours of 7am-3:30pm with OT as needed, Monday-Friday. The pay rate is $17-$18/hr based on experience.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

ยท Load product from the warehouse and assist truck drivers. ยท Examines and verifies product information by reading and comprehending pallet information. ยท Assures quality by examining products for wear or damage and reports any damage to the Warehouse Manager. ยท Pulls from product inventory to complete and load orders into trailers; may also create other documentation to validate product condition. ยท Use RF scanner as needed and use a sit-down forklift ยท Inspects trailers. ยท Adheres to all safety guidelines; takes appropriate precautions to ensure property and materials are not damaged. You must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check before starting this assignment

  • Must have experience with sit-down forklifts
  • Must be able to lift 50-70lbs consistently
  • Ability to stand and walk for entire shift
  • Ability to bend, carry, and use manual equipment to pull and load trucks
  • Steel Toed Boots are required
