Job description

Creating a better world, one student at a time
Lake Lenore School requires a Temporary Part-Time (0.50 FTE) and a Temporary Full-Time (1.0 FTE) Educational Assistant to commence at the start of the 2026-2027 school year and conclude at the end of the 2026-2027 school year.ย 
Salary and benefits are per the current HSSAย Agreement. The hours of work will be equivalent toย  3 hours and 5 minutes per day part-time, and 6 hours and 10 minutes per day full-time, arranged by the principal.
Duties






  • Role of the Educational Assistant as outlined in Role Description
  • Providing academic, developmental and social support for students with academic and behavioral issues


Qualifications


  • Experienced and demonstrated ability to work effectively with students with academic and behavioral issues
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are perceived as definite assets in this assignment
  • Possess a valid driver's license (so that transportation for students with diverse needs can be accommodated where needed)
