Job description

Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer (Advanced Manufacturing & R&D)
Role Overview
We are seeking a driven Electrical Engineering Professional to join our multi-disciplinary team focused on the design and execution of state-of-the-art manufacturing and R&D facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical quality and scheduled delivery of complex electrical systems that power advanced industrial environments. You will collaborate across disciplines to produce high-precision installation details, power plans, and control layouts. This is an ideal opportunity for an engineer who excels in a highly interactive team setting and is eager to apply innovative design solutions to large-scale, high-impact projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Technical Design & Documentation: Lead the development of comprehensive electrical design packages, including single-line diagrams, electric room layouts, motor control elementaries, connection diagrams, and cable schedules.
• Systems Engineering: Produce detailed plans for grounding, lighting, and power distribution, ensuring all designs meet rigorous technical and safety standards.
• Project Accountability: Take ownership of assigned engineering tasks, maintaining strict adherence to project scope, budget, and delivery schedules.
• Cross-Discipline Collaboration: Work closely with discipline leads and multi-disciplinary staff to ensure integrated design outcomes and recognize/communicate scope changes promptly.
• Field Support: Provide on-site technical assistance during system startup and commissioning to ensure design intent is realized in the physical installation.
• Innovation & Best Practices: Contribute innovative ideas to the design process and stay current with industry best practices to improve project efficiency and quality.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Education: Bachelor's or Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Professional Experience:
oMinimum of 6 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, specifically within industrial or advanced facility design.
• Certification: Engineer in Training (EIT) status is required.
• Core Skills:
oStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
oExcellent verbal and written communication skills.
oProven ability to multi-task and maintain extreme organizational standards in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Credentials
• Professional Engineering License (PE).
• Proficiency in Revit or BIM software for 3D modeling and coordination.
• Experience in specialized manufacturing environments (e.g., cleanrooms, R&D labs, or high-tech fabrication facilities).
• Demonstrated ability to lead routine engineering tasks and mentor junior staff.
