The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Assistant In Room Dining Manager to join our team as we reopen the Food & Beverage Division within the hotel.
The Assistant In Room Dining manager's area of responsibility to assist the In Room Dining manager to ensure the successful performance of the In Room Dining, Minibar and Cashier's department. The applicant has to supervise the daily operation of all three departments.
Required Skills
  • Must be able to manage day-to-day operations, ensuring the quality, standards and meeting the expectations of the customers on a daily basis.
  • Exhibit knowledge and strictly abide by state liquor regulations
  • Ability to provide feedback on staff performance to Manager. Report disciplinary problems to Manager and participate in the counselling of employees
  • Required to constantly monitor staff performance in all phases of service and job functions. Rectify any deficiencies with respective personnel

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent
  • Three yearsin ultra-luxury operations, with at least 1 of those years in IRD capacity preferably in a union environment

  • Thorough knowledge of food, beverage and 5 star (Forbes) standards
  • Strong command of both spoken and written English with fluency in other languages preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship with positive attitude and ability to work cohesively as part of a team

Temporary Basis - 3-to-4-month commitment
Salary Range: $72,000 annually -
