Title: Temp Pigment Department

Shift: Monday-Thursday, 5pm-3am
Pay: $18.50/hour
Overview: The press operator position focuses on the creation, processing, handling, or packaging of the core raw organic color pigments (which may include handling dry color powders or presscake filtration). Involves operating press machinery, blending, or milling raw colorants before they are turned into finished flushed bases and tends to deal with the foundational chemical and physical creation of the pigment particles rather than the specialized vehicle-transfer flushing phase.
Major Functions and Tasks:

  • Operates the filter press’s hydraulic ram mechanism.
  • Cleans filter plates surfaces and discharge chute.
  • Seals up product packaging to prevent contamination.
  • Remove and replaces filter cloths.
  • Uses a high pressure washer to remove deposits from the filter press.

Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
Applicant screening includes Strength Test, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Drug Screen and Criminal Background check.
