Job Description What are we looking for in a great candidate?
• Superior written and oral communication skills to facilitate frequent discussions with
Insureds and Underwriters with several communication methods used.
• Proficiency in underwriting and rating systems for multiple insurance carriers.
• Knowledge of market availability and underwriting guidelines for standard insurance
carriers as well as several surplus lines brokers.
• Someone who knows how to use Excel, AMS360, Microsoft Word, Skype Instant
Messenger, Microsoft Outlook, and other work flow and document sharing programs.
• A person who can make quick decisions, handle a deadline based high volume, high
turnaround, fast paced, environment.
• A professional who truly enjoys working with their clients and providing insurance expertise.
• Someone who holds an active 4-40 or 2-20 Florida Insurance License.
Job Responsibilities:
• Daily interaction with clients including reviewing the customer's policy to answer questions
and offer solutions regarding coverage, billing and claims as well as handling policy
changes and renewals.
• Assisting current clients with the sale of additional coverages. Offer expertise so that
customers make buying decisions armed with the right information.
• Document and maintain client files using accurate details of insured interactions.
• Be flexible and able to perform other tasks as requested.
