Temp Sports Card Breakers are individuals who temporarily facilitate live or recorded sessions where unopened sports card packs or boxes are opened (or 'broken') and the contents are distributed to participants who have purchased spots in advance. These breakers may work for sports card shops, online platforms, or independently, often during peak demand periods or special events. Their role includes managing the live break, ensuring fair distribution, and engaging with the collector community. Temp breakers are usually hired on a short-term basis to help with increased workload or to fill in for regular staff.

To thrive as a Temp Sports Card Breaker, you need a solid understanding of sports card values, attention to detail, and familiarity with trading card brands and releases. Experience with live streaming platforms (such as YouTube or Twitch), camera equipment, and inventory management systems is often required. Strong communication, customer service skills, and the ability to engage an online audience set standout breakers apart. These skills ensure accurate card handling, engaging live experiences, and satisfied customers, which are crucial for building a reputable business.
