Summary

Spectrum has been a trusted name for over 50 years, with installations across a multitude of states. In 2018, Spectrum was acquired by Watchfire, one of the largest and most respected LED display manufacturers in the United States. Together, Spectrum by Watchfire continues to set new standards across K–16 education, municipal, professional sports, and recreational facilities. The Installation Technician is a key member in the installation department, responsible for delivering and assembling our products for customers.

A Maintenance Supervisor- Master Electrician reports directly to the Manufacturing/ Service Manager in Houston and is responsible for leading all maintenance activities to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of facility equipment and building systems. This is an advanced skill level position that requires an individual who demonstrates proficiency in all areas of maintenance operations, proven competence in managing complex electrical projects, and extensive knowledge of safety regulations and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication, time management, organizational skills, and self-motivation are key elements to this role while operating independently on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities

· Perform routine maintenance on building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and structural components

· Respond to equipment failure and emergency maintenance to minimize downtime

· Maintain interior and exterior areas including offices, shop floor, and warehouse

· Coordinate facility upgrades, installations, or repairs with contractors and venders

· Plan, prioritize, and maintain the maintenance scheduler to ensure timely completion of submitted tickets

· Manage maintenance work orders and maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities

· Manage maintenance inventory

· Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, lockout/tagout procedures, and company safety policies.

· Serve as the Master Electrician and ensure all electrical work complies with applicable federal, state, and local codes and regulations.

· Diagnose electrical issues impacting operations

· Supervise and coordinate the task of supporting staff members

Required Qualifications/Skills:

· 5+ years of facility or industrial maintenance

· Strong background in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems

· Ability to perform hands-on maintenance work across multiple facility systems

· Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures

· Experience with work order scheduling systems and preventative maintenance

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Required Education and Licensing

· High School diploma or GED required

· Master Electrician or Master Sign Electrician

· Valid Driver’s license
