Job description

  • Foreman Assistant Possible responsibilities (work with Foreman to determine which of these are needed, will vary by job)
    • Able to manage Verfico
    • Able to manage Procore to submit Daily Reports and Tickets
    • Know most of the materials and miscellaneous to be able to RECEIVE and PLACE ORDERS as directed by the Foreman, be familiar with submittals.
    • Distribute and control the tools and equipment in a daily basics
    • Track miscellaneous (gloves, sleeves, safety glasses, face shields, water, etc.) to always have in stock
    • Create and update the Inventory of Tools and Equipment
    • ASSIST the Foreman with the site needs
    • ASSIST Foreman with layout as needed and know how to use the measuring tape.
    • Dailies & PTPs for GC and RSC
    • Check PPE
    • Inventories for Materials, Miscellaneous, Safety Equipment, and Tools & Equipment
    • Mark each Fire-Rated Wall On-Site for the Caulk Installer. Return to do the QC
    • Check that ALL the Acoustic-Rated Walls have the Acoustical Sealant properly installed (QC)
    • Mark Door's Openings, identify them by the NUMBER assigned in the drawings, and MARK how the Door will open
    • Place Ceiling Tile Orders using the Project's Drawing uploaded to his / her iPad
    • Check thatwe always comply with removing our debris daily. If the debris from another subcontractor represents a risk for RSC employees, let the Foreperson know that
    • Distribution / Organization of Materials as they are RECEIVED
    • Know how to do T&M Ticket Work

  • Cleaning and preparing construction sites.

o Filling and removing trash carts.

  • Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
  • Installing temporary protection.
  • Installing wall fiberglass insulation.
  • Building and taking down scaffolding and temporary structures.
  • Light demolition.
  • Operating and tending machinery and heavy equipment.
  • Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans.
  • Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties.
