Job SummaryThe Technical Specialist is responsible for providing guidance to all field personnel. The Tech Specialist will work closely with the Technical Trainer to identify best practices across all facets of the Service Department. Responsible for efficiently resolving problems beyond the technical expertise of all levels of Field Engineers (FEs).Qualifications Required High School DiplomaAbility to develop positive working relationships with individuals both inside and outside of the companyAbility to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and vendorsHigh degree of accuracy and attention to attentionAbility to work independently and as part of a groupMust have the ability to work a flexible schedule; occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demandMust be able to work a standard 40-hour work week and overtime as needed including occasional weekendsValid driver's licenseQualifications desiredMinimum 5 years Electro-Mechanical experienceAbility to perform electronics testing and measurementsMust be able to repair electronic and mechanic sub-assemblies.Knowledge of multi meter and power supplyProblem solving skillsDocumentation skillsEssential Duties and FunctionsAttend an advanced training class on one or more ATM modelsComplete manufacture training on specific ATM modelLearns and becomes proficient in the diagnosis and repair of new and complex productsDemonstrate the ability to diagnose and repair major faults relating to media jams, network malfunctions and power issuesPerform repairs and maintenance on ATMs in designated areas as directed by the Dispatch DepartmentComplete installation of new ATMsProvide on-site training to branch personnel as neededWork with manufacture support teams when necessaryOpen case files with manufacture support, follow through and implement fixes based on findingsProvide technical support to all FEsUtilize company provided equipment and tools to resolve equipment malfunctionsAssist in setting technician protocols for new business or customersDemonstrate excellent technical and customer relation skillsDaily completion and submission of all required paperwork to include timesheets, expense reports, mileage logs, inventory reports and work ordersProvide training to AFE, FE when requiredOther duties as requiredPosition TypeNon-ExemptFull-TimePhysical DemandsAbility to lift, push, pull and move at least 50lbs.
