Contract (Travel) | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12 shifts | 36 hours per week guaranteed

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide optimal patient care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and their families
  • Diagnose and treat human responses to health problems while demonstrating knowledge of cognitive and psychosocial needs specific to the patient population served
  • Coordinate care across interdisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals as needed
  • Maintain continuous mental effort to ensure safe patient care and exercise sound clinical judgment in all patient interactions and decisions
  • Float to other units within scope of competency based on organizational needs
  • Adhere to scheduling requirements, which may include weekends, holidays, and additional shifts as needed
Required Qualifications
  • Active Nevada Registered Nurse (RN) license required prior to start
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Must successfully pass a telemetry competency exam, including identifying and measuring telemetry rhythm strips
  • Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience working in a high-acuity or trauma-level hospital environment
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to varied scheduling needs and fluctuating census environments
