Job description

The Creative Designer helps to build upon the creative strategy and vision by designing and/or creating materials for both internal and external projects, new business and creative presentations. The Creative Designer works directly under the Associate Creative Director to develop concept designs, create dimensional illustrations for asset production, provide graphic solutions for brands, manage images, logos, brand guidelines and more for marketing materials. This will include the creation of compelling artwork, print design, web banners, environmental graphics, branded on-site materials and premiums. The individual will contribute to overall team objectives and collaborate closely with both creative and account teams in order to meet client campaign objectives and complete design deliverables to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop asset and footprint designs
  • Produce digital and print marketing materials for clients as well as for the agency
  • Create graphic design concepts
  • Work closely with account teams in an interactive and collaborate environment to understand messaging, brand objectives design specifications and due date
  • Prepare assets for production which consist of concise dimensional illustrations
  • Create mockups and visualizations (2D and/or 3D) of experiential concepts
  • Design and source campaign materials
  • Source and manage print production and print management
  • Manage and adhere to campaign budgets and timelines
  • Assist in creation of new client materials
  • Design, source and produce client/project deliverables
  • Participate in and contribute to creative brainstorming sessions

Education:
  • Bachelors Degree or higher in graphic design or related artistic discipline

Experience:
  • 2-4 years of design experience
  • Experience in dimensional illustration work
  • Experience with vendors, estimates and quotes
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Mas OS, Powerpoint, and Microsoft Office Suite

Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent concepting, design and layout skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of creative and conceptual problem solving
  • Knowledge of 3D software (SketchUp and Enscape as examples) is not mandatory but highly beneficial
  • Ability to think strategically and suggest creative solutions
  • Extremely well organized and excellent project management skills
  • File management experience a plus
