We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to lead the architecture, development, and automation of our complex system environments. In this role, you will bridge the gap between traditional integration middleware and modern cloud infrastructure, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and AI-driven automation to streamline our delivery pipelines.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical expert who can "stitch together" disparate technologies-combining Terraform, AWS CLI, and Bash scripting-to create seamless, automated deployments.
Key Responsibilities
Architect & Build Pipelines: Design and maintain advanced GitLab CI/CD pipelines, ensuring robust automation for complex system deployments.
Infrastructure as Code: Develop and scale reusable Terraform modules to manage AWS resources including EC2, S3, Lambda, and ASG.
Systems Integration: Manage and optimize integration platforms such as IBM ACE/MQ, Mulesoft, and AWS Transfer Family.
Observability & Reliability: Utilize Dynatrace, Grafana, and CloudWatch to ensure high availability and performance of microservices and infrastructure.
AI-Enabled Engineering: Actively apply AI tooling to accelerate code generation, refactor scripts (Python/Bash), and automate technical documentation.
Technical Leadership: Author high-quality design documents, technology roadmaps, and specifications to guide the evolution of our technical ecosystem.
Qualifications
Experience: 7+ years of technical experience, with at least 5 years managing complex software systems.
Cloud Expertise: Deep, recent experience with AWS services and the AWS CLI. AWS Certification is highly preferred.
Tooling Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in GitLab, Terraform, and Ansible.
Scripting: Strong command of Python, Shell, and YAML.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
