Board Level Test Engineer - Day Shift
Santa Clara, CA
FTE/Full time
Salary: Market plus benfits
We are now open for entry level profiles, with strong expertise in Python and EE hardware. Please share BSEE/MSEE candidates preferred. Candidate must be open to attend 2 rounds of Python coding assessment.
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Perform first-level hardware triage and troubleshooting for PCs and server platforms.
โ€ข Design and implement diagnostic tools and scripts for early hardware validation and fault isolation.
โ€ข Identify and resolve setup issues and test failures using structured troubleshooting methodologies.
โ€ข Develop and maintain test automation using Shell and Python scripting.
โ€ข Work with motherboards and GPU platforms in lab environments.
โ€ข Work with systems connected by various networking protcols, including Ethernet, NVLink and Infiniband
โ€ข Operate in Windows and Linux operating systems for test and debug tasks.
โ€ข Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support diagnostics, validation, and smooth product transitions in the NPI cycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
โ€ข BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
โ€ข Strong scripting skills in Python and Shell.
โ€ข Familiarity with Windows and Linux OS environments.
โ€ข Working knowledge of hardware protocols: Ethernet, Infiniband, PCIe, USB, HDMI, I2C, SPI.
โ€ข Experience with CPUs and GPUs.
โ€ข Proficient in using test equipment for diagnostics and validation.
โ€ข Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
โ€ข Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
ยท Linux or scripting experience is a huge plus
