NDT PAUT Technician – Louisville, KYFull-Time & Temporary Opportunities

We are currently seeking experienced NDT PAUT Technicians for full-time and temporary/project-based opportunities in Louisville, Kentucky. The ideal candidate will have prior Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) experience and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and technical excellence.

Position Summary

The PAUT Technician will perform advanced ultrasonic inspections using phased array technology in accordance with applicable procedures, customer specifications, and industry standards. Candidates must be capable of setting up equipment, interpreting data, and preparing accurate inspection documentation in industrial and manufacturing environments.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) inspections
  • Set up, calibrate, and operate PAUT equipment and software
  • Interpret and evaluate inspection data and indications
  • Prepare accurate inspection reports and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all company, customer, and safety requirements
  • Maintain inspection equipment and records
  • Work closely with supervisors, inspectors, and customers
  • Support outage, maintenance, fabrication, and inspection projects
  • Support additional NDT methods as needed
  • Work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as project demands require
Qualifications
  • Current Level II PAUT certification required
  • Previous PAUT inspection experience required
  • Strong understanding of ultrasonic testing principles and advanced NDT techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and specifications
