Job Title: Assistant Project ManagerJob DescriptionWe are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support a large semiconductor project in Boise, Idaho. The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will provide essential coordination, documentation, and administrative support throughout the project lifecycle, assisting with planning, execution, cost control, and communication to ensure projects are completed on time and within contract requirements.
Responsibilities- Support Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination and execution.
- Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and logs.
- Assist with change order tracking, document control, and budget setup within project management systems.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to obtain required documentation for closeout packages and O&M manuals.
- Help develop workflows and work breakdowns with field supervisors and project teams.
- Support schedule updates and tracking as directed by project leadership.
- Assist with project billings to ensure accuracy and timely monthly submission.
- Help prepare and submit quality RFIs and support change management efforts.
- Assist with subcontractor and vendor payment tracking.
- Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate labor reporting.
- Assume temporary project supervision responsibilities when required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Essential Skills- Basic ability to read and understand electrical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with construction project controls, documentation, and scheduling.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to support multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
- 1-3 years of experience as a project engineer supporting electrical construction projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience supporting semiconductor or data center construction projects is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or 4+ years in the trades is preferred.
- Experience supporting electrical or technical construction projects.
- Strong soft skills, including communication and client-facing skills.
- Experience with semiconductor, data center, or mission-critical construction.
Work EnvironmentJoin a dynamic team in a fast-paced construction environment with opportunities for growth. The company was recently acquired by a national electrical contractor, expanding its work across the West Coast. This project has recently doubled in scope and is expected to last until the end of 2027.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
