Job description

Assignment Details:

  • Dates: Sep 4, 2026 (1 PM) Sep 8 2026 (6 AM)
  • Schedule: 24-hour beeper call (30-min response time)
  • Setting: Inpatient (rounding & admissions required)
  • EMR: Epic (Lumens)

Clinical Scope:

  • GI consults, admissions, and call coverage
  • Procedures include:
  • Upper & Lower GI endoscopy (biopsy, polypectomy, bleeding control)
  • Colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy
  • PEG placement, liver biopsy, esophageal procedures

Requirements:

  • Board Certified in Gastroenterology + Fellowship
  • Active MS license or IMLC
  • ACLS & BLS

Additional Info:

  • No temp privileges (approx. 120-day credentialing)
  • Travel, lodging & malpractice covered
  • Level III Trauma, Stroke-certified facility
