Job Title: Senior Construction Manager
Job Duration: Temp-direct (520-hour conversion)
Est. Pay Range: $70 to $80/hr. On W2 Contract
Work Type: 100% field work in Hartford, CT
Role and Scope of Position
(qualified to request/hold transmission and distribution clearances and manage/coordinate a crew of several Construction Managers);20+ years experience
The Construction Manager provides field based constructability and feasibility insight during the development of transmission and substation capital projects.
The role supports early assessments, ensuring that design and planning efforts incorporate field conditions and requirements necessary for future construction as part of the Shovel Ready Initiative.
Essential Functions
1. Conduct constructability and site feasibility reviews during project development for identified shelf projects.
2. Validate access, workspace, and site conditions
3. Provide input on anticipated construction constraints and risks to engineering and project management to support project development.
4. Support outage feasibility planning during early development
5. Review preliminary designs and material plans for field practicality
