Aerotek is hiring several Level 2 NDT Technicians to work for a company that will be doing inspections on Transmission Towers and various Infrastructures across the country. The pay is $32 - $42 an hour with round trip Flights provided, Hotel paid for, and rental car and company vehicle provided. Job Title: NDT Technician Level II

Pay: $32- $42 an hour

Location: Various cities across the country

Shift: 1st shift. 60 plus hours a week

Travel: Company will pay for roundtrip flights to the job site, and will pay for hotel and transportation from the airport. Will provide company vehicle.

Job Description:

This company delivers engineering, inspection, and remediation services for lighting poles, transmission towers, and other infrastructure exposed to ongoing wear from usage, aging, and environmental conditions.

The NDT Technician is responsible for the inspection of materials, structures, and assets by using non-destructive testing techniques to examine structures for flaws and structural weaknesses

findings to maintain the reliability and safety of utility pole networks.

Requirements:

• Minimum of one year experience with NDT, utility maintenance, or a relevant field preferred.

• Knowledge: Proficient understanding of utility poles and materials, corrosion, cracks, flaws, and safety standards.

• Certifications: Shear wave (SWUT), NDT Level 2 UT, NDT Level 2 MT and NDT Level 2 PT

• REQUIRED: NDT Level 2 UT Shear Wave

• CWI Certification preferred

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $60.00/hr.
