Molding Packager - Night Shift (6:00pm-6:00am)
Overview
US Conec is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Molding Packager to support our manufacturing operations in Fort Worth, TX. In this role, you'll be responsible for manually packaging materials and products.
Responsibilities
- Remove products from the molding machine to separate plastic products from scrap plastic.
- Pull and package products from molding machines according to a set schedule.
- Weigh containers and adjust quantities as needed.
- Label containers, container tags, or products appropriately.
- Pack special arrangements or selections of products.
- Inspect materials, products, and containers at each step of the packaging process.
- Record information such as weight, time, and date packaged.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area by picking up trash, sweeping the molding floor, and wiping down molding machines.
- Organize storage cabinets.
- Follow the direction of the shift lead to perform other related projects to support the molding floor staff.
- Observe safety and security procedures, determine appropriate actions beyond guidelines, report potentially unsafe conditions, and use equipment and materials properly.
- Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully while developing alternative solutions
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, look for ways to improve and promote quality, apply feedback to improve performance, and monitor work to ensure quality.
- Meet productivity standards, complete work in a timely manner, strive to increase productivity, and work efficiently.
Must Haves
- High school diploma; one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to carry out instructions and handle standardized situations with minimal variability.
- Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities, exhibit objectivity and openness to others' views, give and receive feedback.
- Effective communication and ability to work well with a team.
