What You will Do:
  • Primary: Build and submit First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) packages, per customer and AS9102-Rev C using DISCUS & Net-Inspect software, into an internet-based portal for final review / approval. FAI are for hardware associated with military and commercial aero-engine builds. The work is performed on-site at a supplier in Connecticut in a modern Distribution Center environment.
  • Secondary: conduct inspection reviews (gaging) on hardware using a combination of manual, semi-automated, and advanced metrology equipment in support of FAIRs and general processing of part orders.
  • Aid in the review/resolve issues related to quality records and delay workflow.
  • Spot, segregate, and document Non-Conforming Material when encountered.
  • Interact w/ multiple computer systems / software
  • Collaboratively engage daily with your Project / Team leader, Peers
  • Help Quest Global grow while you learn and develop your career

What You Will Bring:
  • AS/BS Technical Degree - preferred
  • Minimum 3+ years relevant experience to role
  • Alternate: 7+ years relevant experience to role with no / non-tech degree
  • Other Technical Certifications (DQR, CQT, CQE, Audit, etc.) - noteworthy

Required Skills (Technical Competency) / Attributes:
  • Knowledge/Involvement with AS9102 First Article Inspection Reviews (FAIR)
  • Reading and applying Blueprints / Quality Requirements information to task
  • Performing Inspection with both manual and electronic gages
  • Conducting PPAP (Noteworthy, but not required)
  • Reviewing, comprehending, and compiling technical data
  • Entering technical data into forms and systems / retrieving data accurately.
  • Prior roles w/ reporting responsibilities, requirements, metrics.
  • Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook - daily user
  • Prior demonstrated ability to focus on semi-recurring tasks
  • Operating in procedure based and regulatory controlled environments
  • Problem solving

Pay Range: $26-36/Hr. USD. OT available. Schedule: 8 A.M.-4 P.M. Sunday -Thursday. Customer operates 7 days/wk. {Possible extension to this temp assignment or potential transfer to a permanent role in relatable work.)
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. This is a no-benefits position.
Work Requirements:
This role is considered an on-site position located in Enfield, CT. USA
  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
  • Shop floor/Distribution site environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking/standing, and ability to lift 40 lbs. at times.

Travel requirements: No/Minimal additional travel is required.
Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, "U.S Person" status is required.
