Job Title: MachinistJob Description

This role involves operating, setting up, inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining CNC machines to support precision drilling, boring, and milling operations. You will interpret setup documents, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and other technical specifications to ensure accurate production and high-quality finished parts.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently for drilling, boring, and milling operations.
  • Set up CNC machines to perform a variety of jobs, including selecting and installing appropriate tools, fixtures, and workholding devices.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, setup documents, and other technical specifications to determine machining requirements.
  • Inspect, clean, and maintain CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Monitor machining operations and adjust settings as needed to maintain accuracy and quality.
  • Inspect finished products using appropriate measuring tools and compare results to quality requirements and specified tolerances.
  • Document and communicate any deviations, defects, or issues identified during production or inspection.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company standards and procedures.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of CNC machining experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
