8AM to 5PM Monday - Friday


About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator to join our Distribution Center team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This position combines yard truck operations with transportation coordination to help ensure the efficient movement of trailers, deliveries, and inventory throughout the distribution center.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Operate a non-CDL yard truck to safely move semi-trailers and hook trailer sets throughout the distribution center.
  • Assist with planning delivery routes and scheduling multi-stop deliveries.
  • Help coordinate transportation activities to ensure efficient daily operations.
  • Verify that outbound loads are accurate and include all required order items and cross-dock shipments.
  • Communicate professionally with retail locations and customers to meet transportation needs.
  • Collaborate with supply chain partners to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Support transportation operations during peak seasonal demand.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy while managing multiple priorities.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous transportation, logistics, warehouse, or distribution experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and transportation or warehouse management systems.
  • Ability to safely operate or become certified to operate a forklift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and stretching throughout the shift.
  • Ability to safely work around and handle hazardous materials in accordance with company policies.
