Job description

Temporary Laborer

The Town of Westerly is seeking individuals who are interested in becoming a Temporary Laborer, assigned to the Highway Division. Temporary Laborer duties include lawn/field care and maintenance, general labor work and transfer station activities. Although this position is for the Highway Division, Temporary Laborers may be assigned to any division of Public Works including: Recreation Maintenance, Transfer Station, Highways, Buildings, Utilities. This is a temporary position, that normally does not exceed 90 days. This position is 40 hours per week. The rate of pay is $23.25.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of sixteen (16) years of age.

• Must have a valid driver's license.
