Job description

Production Planning Specialist (Temporary – 3 Month Assignment) - $16-$28/hr

Schedule:

  • 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM OR
  • 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Monday–Friday

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Planner to develop and manage production schedules that support on-time customer delivery, efficient inventory levels, and optimal production capacity. This role works closely with production, materials, and other departments to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop long-term, monthly, weekly, and daily production plans.
  • Create and adjust production schedules based on customer demand and inventory.
  • Monitor production progress and resolve scheduling or capacity issues.
  • Coordinate with production, materials, and logistics teams to meet delivery goals.
  • Identify planning risks and implement corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to production planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Bilingual Japanese and English required.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Work Environment

  • Office setting with regular interaction on the production floor.
  • Fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Assignment Details

  • Temporary 3-month assignment
  • Day Shift: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
  • Full-time, Monday–Friday
