Job description

Under the direction of the Area Service Manager the position will be responsible for traveling to customer facilities for new machine commissioning, upgrades/updates, option installations, and light servicing of injection molding machinery in the field.

This role focuses on developing technical competency through hands-on field work, shadowing experienced engineers, achieving the basic understanding of the injection molding process, and performing assigned service tasks while maintaining professional customer interactions.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Professional appearance and friendly demeanor towards customers and colleagues
  • Represents the company professionally in all customer interactions.
  • Machine start-up commissioning, and/or upgrades
  • Excellent daily communication with ASM.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Drive to regional customers and/or other facilities as required.

Required:

  • Highschool diploma
  • Technical Proficiency: Fundamental knowledge of electronics, and mechanics.
  • Self-Motivation: Working independently at various locations.
  • Communication: Clearly explain technical details to clients and teams.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accurate work and documentation

Preferred:

2 year technical degree or equivalent experience.
