QC/Process Engineer

Shift: Monday – Friday, 40 hours/week | Flexible start time: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm or 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Pay Rate: $32/hour (DOE)
Location: Kennesaw, GA 30144 
Experience: At least 2 years of engineering, quality control, and/or document control experience is required.

Summary: As the QC/Process Engineer, your main goal is to serve in a cross-functional role between quality, process engineering, and design engineering. This role includes supporting the quality team with critical inspections and non-conformance analysis. You will also work with the process and design engineering teams with document control such as engineering changes, BOM changes, non-conformance, corrective action, and other related activities.

QC/Process Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Oversee production documentation and assembly workflows while assisting engineering teams with Bill of Materials (BOM) updates and schematic drawings.
  • Lead and optimize facility lean manufacturing initiatives, utilizing Kaizen, Gemba, and continuous improvement practices to eliminate operational waste.
  • Analyze operational data and apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) to troubleshoot system issues and implement preventative measures.
  • Investigate material quality constraints alongside the Material Review Board (MRB) to determine root causes and enforce immediate resolutions.
  • Maintain all Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, tracking and communicating essential quality metrics and non-conformance reports.
  • Act as the core cross-functional link between engineering and quality departments to protect product integrity and secure on-time delivery.


QC/Process Engineer Skills:

  • Highly flexible across multiple departments and roles with varied weekly work demands.
  • Must be a quick learner who is able to work fluidly with multiple departments and personnel.
  • Possess strong skills in document control, quality systems, and effective communications.
  • Candidates must have strong ability working in Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, Office, and PowerPoint.
  • CAD experience is preferred.
  • Experience in ISO 9001 or 13485 is preferred.


QC/Process Engineer Requirements:

  • Minimum of an Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 2 years of engineering, quality control, and/or document control experience.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism within a collaborative team environment.
  • Comfortable working in an office environment.
  • Requires the physical ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
