Job Title: Maintenance Technician – Injection Molding
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Gastonia, NC
Pay: $25.00–$30.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Flexibility: Must be willing to assist on other shifts as production needs require.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with Injection Molding experience to join a growing manufacturing team in Gastonia, NC. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining injection molding equipment to ensure maximum production efficiency and minimal downtime. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures quickly to minimize production downtime
  • Install, maintain, and repair molding machines, robots, conveyors, chillers, dryers, and related equipment
  • Perform machine setups and assist with mold changes as needed
  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks according to established schedules
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair records, and equipment documentation
  • Work closely with Production and Process Technicians to improve equipment performance and efficiency
  • Follow all company safety policies and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist on other shifts when necessary to support production requirements
Required Qualifications
  • 1–5 years of maintenance experience in an injection molding manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
  • Knowledge of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
  • Experience performing preventative maintenance
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • PLC troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with robotics and automated manufacturing equipment
  • Technical degree, industrial maintenance certification, or related training
  • Experience with continuous improvement or Lean Manufacturing initiatives
