Quality Auditor – Day & Night Shift | $21 - $23/hr | Canton, NC


$21-$23.00/hr | Temp-to-Hire | Canton, NC


Do you have manufacturing quality or inspection experience and take pride in catching the details others may miss?

The Greer Group is hiring an experienced Quality Auditor for a 2nd shift, temp-to-hire career opportunity with an established manufacturer in Canton, NC.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on manufacturing or quality experience who understands the importance of accuracy, documentation, and making sure products meet quality standards before they move through production.


PAY & SCHEDULE

$21.00 per hour

1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

$23.00 per hour

2nd Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Quality Auditor, you'll play an important role in maintaining product quality throughout the manufacturing process.

You will:

  • Perform in-process inspections of manufactured products
  • Complete first-piece inspections and approve product quality before production runs begin
  • Audit production areas to ensure established quality standards are met
  • Perform specialized quality testing according to product-specific work instructions, including:
    • Color analysis
    • Gloss testing
    • Film thickness
    • Adhesion testing
    • Caliper measurements
    • Other product-specific testing
  • Accurately document inspection and testing results
  • Complete area audit reports for shift activities
  • Identify, document, and control non-conforming products
  • Complete HOLD tag documentation according to established procedures
  • Communicate quality concerns to production and quality team members
  • Provide quality auditing support to other areas as needed
  • Follow established quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of related manufacturing, quality, inspection experience and/or training
  • Manufacturing quality inspection experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions and specifications
  • Ability to accurately document inspection and test results
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
