Job description

Data Entry Clerk

Pegasus Northwest located in Kent, WA is currently looking for a Data Entry Clerk to join our team in a fast paced and rewarding environment. This is a temporary/hourly position, with the possibility of permanent employment at the conclusion of the term.

Since 1997 Pegasus Northwest, Inc. has built an exceptional reputation of quality and service in the Aerospace Industry by being the premier water jet cutter in the Pacific Northwest.

We are looking for a person that is positive, energetic, respectful, forward-thinking and can be a part of a team. The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in computer systems, databases, and spreadsheets. This position requires strong typing and data entry skills, with attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Sorting and preparing data and files for entry
  • Review and verify data for completeness, consistency, and accuracy before entry.
  • Accurately typing data into digital forms and spreadsheets
  • Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive company, vendor, and customer information.
  • Supplying QA manager with requested information
  • Assisting with general administrative and clerical duties, including filing, scanning, and document management, and performing other administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Skills / Knowledge:

  • Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken)
  • Ability to multi task in a dynamic, fast moving environment
