Mailroom Clerk
Seattle, WA (onsite)
3+Month (Temp-to-hire)
Mon-Fri, 9am - 5:30pm
Parking on-site is $22 - $30 per day. Transit options are available nearby.

  • Support a high-volume mailroom and office services environment.
  • Split time between mailroom and hoteling/office support teams.
  • Perform mail, shipping/receiving, copy, scanning, document management, and general office support duties.
  • Handle confidential and time-sensitive documents while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Sort, distribute, and deliver incoming and outgoing mail, packages, faxes, and office supplies.
  • Create outgoing shipments, receive deliveries, and verify packing slips.
  • Assist with hoteling support, room checks, meeting room setup, office setup, and shred bin collection.
  • Operate high-volume copiers, scanners, fax machines, postage meters, and related office equipment.
  • Perform copying, scanning, OCR, file conversion, file naming, FTP transfers, document formatting, and Table of Contents (TOC) management.
  • Complete binding, finishing, quality control, and final document checks.
  • Clear paper jams, perform basic copier maintenance, report equipment issues, and keep copier areas stocked and organized.
  • Maintain supply inventories, billing logs, meter readings, service logs, and other records.
  • Respond to customer requests, answer job status questions, and coordinate service calls.
  • Deliver completed projects throughout the office and assist with off-site project coordination when needed.
  • Perform filing, archiving, document purging, shipping, receiving, and other administrative support duties.
  • Assist with building support tasks, including light maintenance, office moves, re-lamping, housekeeping, and other assigned duties.
  • Lift and move boxes, push carts containing mail, packages, and supplies, and perform other physical tasks as required.
  • Work occasional overtime, evenings, weekends, or emergency response hours when needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of related office, mailroom, copy center, shipping/receiving, or customer service experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of legal industry experience highly preferred.
  • Strong customer service, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience operating high-volume copiers, scanners, bindery, and other office equipment preferred.
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and document management workflows preferred.
  • Basic computer and electronic equipment troubleshooting skills preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and technical information.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential and time-sensitive documents.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move boxes, mail carts, packages, and office supplies throughout the facility.
  • Business casual attire required.
