We are seeking a dynamic professional to step into a critical role, ensuring the highest standards of content quality and narrative clarity for a major pharmaceutical client. In this position, you won't just edit; you'll be a guardian of accuracy, directly contributing to the integrity and success of vital communications that inform healthcare professionals and patients alike. Your expertise will be instrumental in navigating complex regulatory landscapes, driving the successful review and approval of essential promotional materials, and ultimately, making a tangible impact on public health.
Key Responsibilities
  • MLR Compliance & Submissions: Fact-check, reference, and annotate resources to ensure all promotional materials comply with medical accuracy standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Editorial Excellence: Proofread and copyedit content for grammar, punctuation, flow, and consistency, adhering to established brand guidelines and professional style standards.
  • Workflow Management: Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously within a fast-paced agency/studio environment, consistently meeting strict deadlines.
  • Tool Proficiency: Utilize electronic markup and review tools to execute revisions and manage review cycles efficiently.
  • Standards & Regulations: Stay up to date on evolving industry standards, pharmaceutical labeling rules, and client-specific style guides.

Qualifications & Skills Required:
  • 4+ years of editing experience, ideally within a pharmaceutical company, healthcare agency, or creative studio.
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience sourcing references and annotating resources for medical, legal, and regulatory (MLR) review.
  • Proven proficiency with industry-standard electronic markup and review tools, including content management platforms and document editing software.
  • Deep knowledge and practical application of professional style guides, such as AMA Style.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
