Temp Disability Insurance information

What is temp disability insurance?

Temporary Disability Insurance (TDI) is a type of insurance that provides partial wage replacement to employees who are unable to work due to a non-work-related illness, injury, or pregnancy. It is designed to help cover living expenses while the employee recovers and is unable to earn their regular income. The specific benefits, eligibility requirements, and application process can vary by state or employer. Generally, TDI is paid for through payroll deductions or employer contributions, and claims typically require medical documentation.
