Description

Walton Isaacson (WI) is seeking a Temp-Digital Buyer to join our LA team for an immediate assignment through December 2026.

This is a hybrid role based in our Los Angeles office, with an expectation to work in person three days per week, Tuesday through Thursday.


The Temp-Digital Buyer will support WI's Digital and Social Investment teams across audience targeting development, campaign setup, pacing, optimization, trafficking, and reporting across digital and social channels.


We're looking for someone who can step in quickly, work independently, and manage the day-to-day details that keep campaigns moving. The right person brings strong operational discipline, attention to detail, urgency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced agency environment.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Media Buy Management - Assist in managing and monitoring digital and social media buys, including weekly optimizations      and reporting.
  • Performance Reporting - Pull platform performance reports and deliver actionable insights to Media Leads.
  • Daily Pacing - Generate daily pacing reports to ensure budgets and delivery remain on track.
  • Ad Compliance - Identify and flag ad disapprovals and support resolution workflows.
    • Conduct keyword research and develop ad copy for search campaigns.
    • Build monthly social campaigns in Meta Business Suite, Prisma, and Google Ads.
    • Upload and traffic new creative assets monthly.
    • Track timelines, deliverables, and evolving client requirements.
    • Traffic campaigns in Google Ads and collaborate with planners and account teams on tagging strategy.
  • QA media placements against vendor IOs and approved media plans.
    • Aggregate data across platforms to support reporting and insights.
    • Organize and schedule media assets.
    • Maintain Prisma budgets, actualization, and ongoing updates.
    • Stay informed on media trends, platform updates, and vendor offerings.
    • Support ad hoc projects and additional team needs as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in integrated media buying across digital, social, and/or traditional channels.
  • Experience with campaign setup, optimization, budget management, pacing, and reporting.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, proactively, and with limited oversight.
  • Strong client-service mindset with a sense of urgency and consistent follow-through.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize across multiple projects, campaigns, and deadlines.
  • Experience with Google Ads and Meta Business Suite preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with media and social platforms and systems including Google Suite, Meta, Prisma, Flashtalking, and DoubleVerify.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, partners, and vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, including the ability to pivot, organize, and interpret data effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate campaign execution.  

The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; the associated discipline; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company(applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
