Overview

The World Series of Poker (WSOP), the most prestigious brand in poker and global leader in live and digital gaming events, is seeking to hire an HR Manager to support payroll operations, HR administration, office management, and executive support functions within a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This is a hands-on role that combines HR coordination, compliance support, payroll administration, facilities oversight, and day-to-day operational execution.

You will help manage contractor onboarding, payroll schedules, employee benefits, HR systems,

compensation administration, and workplace operations—while also acting as a key internal resource

for employee support, compliance coordination, and executive administrative initiatives.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Payroll Management

  • Support General Counsel & Executive Business Manager in ensuring that contracts are

signed for contractors prior to live events

  • Share contractor payroll schedules
  • Support in temp staff cycle management, ensuring they are onboarded into the payroll

systems.

  • Provide administration and documentation support of salary and bonus reviews, including

calculations and payout.


HR & Company Programs

  • Oversee the company's premium health benefits program. Ensuring that team members

are informed and enrolled

  • Manage the corporate 401(k) / Profit Sharing program. Informed and enrolled.
  • Manage corporate credit cards (e.g., Chase and AMEX), including tracking company

team/personal spend accounts.

  • Act as the "knowledge hub" for employee questions regarding these services, directing

inquiries to IT or other HR team members as needed.

  • Revise, update and distribute Employee Handbook.


HR Document Administration

  • Maintain meticulous records of receipts, invoices, and executive purchases.
  • Ensure the Deel HRIS (or equivalent HRIS platform) and HR Dashboards are updated in

real-time.

  • Manage and track HR/Admin common-use logins and passwords securely.
  • Develop process improvement guides to facilitate cross-training and coverage during

absences.


HR Compliance & Employment Administration

  • Ensure company compliance with regards to applicable employment laws, health & safety

legislation, and regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate workplace health & safety administration, including incident reporting,

required postings, training coordination, and maintaining compliance documentation in

accordance with applicable state and federal requirements

  • Partner with leadership and external advisors to support HR compliance initiatives, audits,

investigations, employee relations documentation, and risk mitigation processes.


Office Administration & Facilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for property management, security, and facilities to ensure

a safe, comfortable workspace.

  • Manage procurement for office supplies, snacks, beverages, and weekly hot lunches.
  • Handle all logistics: scheduling deliveries, managing returns, and shipping prizes to

WSOP winners.

  • Prepare and process invoices, deposits, and outgoing mail/packages (e.g., UPS, FedEx,

USPS).


Executive & Strategic Support

  • Support the Executive Business Manager & CEO: Gather documentation for

immigration, company purchases, and strategic orders.

  • Support the Executive Business Manager: Complete ad-hoc tasks, specialized

projects, and administrative requests as required.

  • Environment: Maintain the professional standards of the CEO’s office and the general

workspace.

  • Global Alignment: Liaise with Global HR to align, where possible, on Global HR

practices, policies, and processes


All other HR and related duties as required


Requirements:

  • Proven experience (4 years) in payroll processing and HR administration within Nevada (or

relevant state)

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to pivot between administrative tasks and

physical office management

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment (Experience in gaming,

hospitality, or sports is a plus!)

  • Proficiency with Deel or similar HRIS platforms (e.g., Gusto, ADP, Paylocity)
