Job Summary:

The Cash Analyst will provide technical assistance and support to client teams. Responsibilities include cash management, preparation of tickets, and timely investment of funds, daily account reconciliation, and portfolio database maintenance.
• Department Overview: Structured Credit Services (SCS) was started back in 2000. SCSs staff of professionals provides trustee, calculation agent, collateral administration, custodial, loan administration and paying/transfer agent services on close to four hundred SPVs both domestically and throughout Europe/Asia.
Ideal Candidates:

  • Thrives under pressure, demonstrates exceptional organizational skills, and can effectively prioritize competing demands while maintaining a high level of accuracy in a deadline-driven setting.

Responsibilities for the Cash Analyst includes but not limited to:

  • Daily cash receipting, wiring, and investing of funds.

  • Maintain and update trust reporting database, reconcile to other DB applications.

  • Journalize and reconcile daily cash and investment activity.

  • Reconciliation of incoming funds against the projections made. Investigating the differences and resolving the breaks.

  • Respond to bondholder inquiries.

  • Data Entry.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree required - preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics.

  • Understanding of general accounting and financial reporting principles.

  • General understanding of structured credit products.

  • Competent in all MS Office products.

  • Advanced MS Excel abilities - Comfortable with complex formulas and modelling techniques.

  • Strong written/verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Fluent in English
