Mortgage Processor Assistant

Location: Pensacola, FL

Schedule: 8:30 am-5:00 pm

Industry: Mortgage / Financial Services

Are you looking to grow your career in the mortgage industry with a team-focused environment? We're seeking a Mortgage Processor Assistant to support the mortgage processing team by helping move home loans efficiently through the pipeline while delivering an exceptional member experience.

What You'll Do
  • Support Mortgage Processors by handling administrative and operational tasks, allowing them to focus on member and realtor communication.
  • Collect, review, and verify mortgage documentation, including income, asset, title, appraisal, and homeowner's insurance documents.
  • Assist with loan file preparation to ensure accuracy and completeness before underwriting submission.
  • Complete file reviews, gather required documentation, and follow up on outstanding loan conditions.
  • Manage loan tasks and documentation within mortgage processing systems.
  • Coordinate third-party verifications, including employment, HOA/Condo documentation, and other required validations.
  • Track loan milestones and ensure key dates are accurate to support timely loan progression.
  • Upload, index, and maintain loan documents while ensuring data accuracy within internal systems.
  • Process payoff requests, support post-closing corrections, and assist with workflow updates.
  • Monitor loan pipeline activity while maintaining compliance with federal regulations and company policies.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Experience reviewing documents and maintaining accurate records.
  • Mortgage, lending, banking, real estate, or financial services experience preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pensacola, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
