What is a temp compounding pharmacist?

Temp Compounding Pharmacists are licensed pharmacists who work on a temporary or contract basis, specializing in the preparation of customized medications by mixing, combining, or altering ingredients to meet specific patient needs. They often fill in for permanent staff or assist during periods of high demand in pharmacies, hospitals, or compounding facilities. These professionals must adhere to strict safety and quality standards to ensure the efficacy and safety of compounded medications. Their work is essential for patients who require specialized formulations unavailable in commercial products.
