Corporate Jet Exterior Finisher and Painter- Seeking experienced painters with detail, sealant, blending, and spot-ins. Must have 5 years minimum of experience.

PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an experienced Aircraft Exterior Finisher, Painter to join our team in Tucson, AZ. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and finishing aircraft surfaces to meet the highest quality standards. If you have a passion for precision and craftsmanship, this is your opportunity to thrive in a dynamic aviation environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare aircraft and component surfaces for painting.
  • Apply primer, topcoat, and final spray finishes.
  • Polish and inspect painted surfaces for a flawless appearance.
  • Perform touch-ups and install sealant and erosion tape.
  • Document all work in compliance with manuals and regulatory requirements.
  • Layout aircraft according to customer specifications.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to 5-S and EHS policies.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of aircraft painting experience.
  • Ability to pass Pulmonary Function evaluation for respirator certification.
  • Formal vocational training or equivalent experience.
  • Basic PC skills and ability to navigate maintenance manuals and IPCs.
  • Knowledge of hazardous material transportation regulations.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to interpret mechanical engineering drawings.
  • Customer service experience in an aviation setting is a plus.
