Job description

Deals assigned games in an accurate manner while providing outstanding customer service.   Responsible for all money on assigned table during a live game. Knowledge of other carnival games - Blackjack a must. Essential Job Functions:
  •  Provide excellent internal/external guest service;
  •   Excellent communication skills;
  •  Deal games according to standard rules, company procedures and applicable gaming regulations;
  • Responsible for control of game(s);
  • Ability to protect assets of company;
  • Shuffle and deal cards accurately to guests;
  • Quickly and accurately calculate face value of cards;
  • Exchange cash for proper denominations of chips;
  • Pick up losing bets and cards from guest’s betting square, pay winning bets, and place chips in appropriate betting square;
  • Complete any required forms, records, or documents;
  •  Other reasonable duties as assigned.
 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • High School/GED;
  • Dealer school or on-the-job training for assigned games
  •  Six (6) months of prior experience preferred.
 Preferred:
  • Bilingual a plus
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
 KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Maintain current knowledge of applicable company policies and gaming regulations
  • Casino environment which may include exposure to noise and second-hand smoke
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time (approximately 1 hour 20 minutes continuous at a time)
