Hunter’s Green in New Tampa is a gated development exemplified by harmonizing suburban life and nature. Role Summary

The Onsite Gate Attendant will ensure the safety and smooth operation of the community entrance. Your responsibilities include greeting visitors, verifying access, and maintaining security protocols.


Responsibilities

  • Welcome all visitors with “Welcome to Hunter’s Green”
  • Request and verify identification (driver’s license) for all non-emergency vehicles
  • Record entry for approved service providers, food deliveries, and realtors while following access restrictions
  • Utilize the camera system for monitoring traffic and recording vehicle information
  • Report any emergencies or law enforcement interactions immediately to supervisors
  • Maintain a clean and professional uniform
  • Direct inquiries to the HGCA Office and limit personal conversations
  • Provide directions using printed maps as needed
  • Follow contingency plans for power outages, ensuring manual logins for visitors
  • Use signage to communicate any temporary closures during emergencies
  • Enforce community rules, including restricted access hours and policies against garage sales
  • Ensure all visitor entry forms are completed accurately
  • Working Conditions – list the physical conditions of the position (ie. Indoor work, outdoor work, off-site work, etc.)
  • Must stand and engage with traffic; sitting or personal conversations are prohibited during peak hours
  • Limited personal device usage when traffic is present

Physical Requirements

  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office equipment.
  • Visual acuity to read printed materials, spreadsheets, and computer screens.
  • Hearing and speech ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in virtual meetings.
  • Ability to work in a standard office environment with moderate noise levels.
  • Ability to work a standard schedule, with occasional extended hours as required.
