Pay: $21.00 per hour
Position OverviewWe are hiring 2–3 Flooring Installation Technicians to support a six-month plus facility renovation project. This is a temporary, full-time opportunity for individuals with hands-on flooring installation experience who are dependable, detail-oriented, and take pride in producing quality work.
The ideal candidate will have experience with carpet removal, floor preparation, waterproof vinyl flooring installation, and finish carpentry, including baseboard installation.
Responsibilities- Remove existing carpet and flooring materials.
- Prepare subfloors, including leveling and surface preparation.
- Measure, cut, glue, and install waterproof vinyl plank flooring.
- Install baseboards and finish trim.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with the project team to complete the flooring installation on schedule.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Previous experience installing flooring is required.
- Experience with:
- Carpet removal
- Floor leveling and subfloor preparation
- Cutting, gluing, and installing waterproof vinyl flooring
- Baseboard installation
- Ability to read a tape measure and accurately measure and cut materials.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Frequently bend, kneel, crouch, and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work in an active renovation environment.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools throughout the workday.
