This position is also responsible for complying with all state, federal and/or local laws relating to Fair Housing.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be HVAC Universal Certified
- College or Technical school training preferred
- Previous Property Management experience a plus
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Ability to interact with others in a team environment
- Drug test and background check required
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required
Requirements
JOB DUTIES:
- Prioritize and complete maintenance work orders precisely and timely
- Electrical repairs and service to water heaters, garbage disposals, electric wall heaters, baseboard heaters, wall outlets, light switches, and ceiling lights
- Plumbing repairs and service to faucets, drains, toilets, sinks, copper, ABS, PVC, PB plastic and galvanized pipes
- Remove/replace dishwashers and garbage disposals
- Carpentry and remodel to include floor underlayment, sub-floor, structural repairs, cabinet repairs, sheetrock/drywall repairs, texturing, interior and exterior door replacement
- Flooring and hard surfaces to include one piece bent laminate, ABS plastic tub surround replacement, vinyl flooring replacement, pre-formed and laminated counter top installations, ceramic floor, and wall tile
- Maintain all common areas, amenities areas, parking areas, entry ways, to include sweeping, mopping, pressure washing, and emptying trash
- Assist with apartment turns and timely work order completion
- Work to achieve and maintain overall curb appeal standards for Company
- Carry emergency cell phone if needed or be on call when needed
- Responsible for exhibiting and promoting professionalism among maintenance staff
- Exhibit courtesies at all times and treat all residents and company personnel with respect and professionalism
- Ensure maintenance is performed in such a manner as to minimize resident
discomfort and distress - Comply with company uniform and appearance policy
- Attend all required meetings and training courses
- Complete the above duties and all others deemed necessary by the Property Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor
