Temp Agency Warehouse Jobs in Racine, WI (NOW HIRING)

Overview

Hours: 9am to 6pm Monday through Friday (may go onto 7pm or 8pm depending on workload at which point OT will be paid). We are closed on major holidays and weekends.

Position: Non-Processing table – This position will require the ability to lift up to 70/lbs at times with frequencies. In this position, employees work as a team to package metal bars per customer orders. Fork truck / side loader experience is a plus. Metal bundles are placed on a large roller table. Team will bust open the bundle of metal and pull out required number of bars to fill customer orders. Orders are then run through a shrink-wrapping machine then sorted and staged for our pool trucking system. Throughout the workday, there will be two 15 minute breaks and a half hour lunch break

Duties

• Operate warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, and inventory management software to track stock levels, process orders, and update records accurately
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders using RF scanners, order pickers, pallet jacks, and other equipment to ensure timely delivery
• Load and unload shipments efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools while adhering to safety protocols
• Conduct stock replenishment by stocking shelves and organizing inventory in designated areas for easy access and optimal space utilization
• Manage shipping logistics by preparing shipping labels, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations and trade compliance standards
• Assist with packaging products securely for shipment while maintaining quality standards for e-commerce orders and distribution channels

Experience

• Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Familiarity with warehouse operations including picking & packing, shipping & receiving, and inventory management practices
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (such as AS400 or ERP platforms) and inventory management software is highly desirable
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely (certification preferred)
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry and stock management tasks
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service when interacting with team members or external carriers
