Job description

Title of role: Senior Marketing Associate - TV & Streaming
Location: New York or Boston; Hybrid (2 days in the office required)
Approved Salary Range: $77k- $87k

About the Role:

We're looking for a strategic, analytically-minded marketer to own one of our fastest-growing marketing channels: TV and Connected TV (CTV).

In this role, you'll serve as the internal owner of our video media investment-setting strategy, leading our agency partnership, improving measurement, influencing creative direction, and identifying opportunities to make every media dollar work harder.

You'll partner closely with our external agency while building best-in-class internal capabilities around reporting, experimentation, attribution, and business planning. You'll connect media performance to business outcomes and help shape the future of our upper-funnel growth strategy.

This role is ideal for someone with TV/CTV experience either at a leading media agency or an in-house marketing organization-who is excited by equal parts strategy, analytics, and brand.

Key Responsibilities:

TV & CTV Investment Strategy
  • Develop annual and quarterly media strategies aligned to business objectives and customer growth goals.
  • Partner with our media agency to build media plans across linear TV, streaming, and emerging video platforms.
  • Recommend investment levels, channel mix, audience strategies, and flighting based on business priorities and performance.
  • Continuously evaluate new partners, inventory opportunities, targeting capabilities, and measurement solutions.
Lead our Agency Partnership
  • Serve as the day-to-day strategic lead for our TV and CTV agency relationship.
  • Challenge media recommendations with thoughtful questions and data-driven insights.
  • Hold agency partners accountable for planning quality, optimization cadence, innovation, reporting, and performance.
  • Lead weekly business reviews and quarterly planning sessions.
Build World-Class Measurement
  • Develop measurement frameworks that connect TV investment to incremental customer acquisition and revenue.
  • Partner with Analytics, Finance, and Marketing leadership to improve attribution and incrementality measurement.
  • Establish executive dashboards that clearly communicate investment, performance, efficiency, and business impact.
  • Translate complex campaign data into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
Develop our Testing Roadmap
  • Build a structured experimentation roadmap across audiences, inventory, creative, frequency, and media mix.
  • Partner with Analytics to measure test outcomes and implement learnings.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency, incrementality, and return on investment.
Influence Creative Strategy
  • Partner with Brand and Creative teams to ensure TV creative is aligned with campaign objectives and audience insights.
  • Develop creative testing plans to improve message effectiveness and business performance.
  • Provide performance-based recommendations that inform future creative development.
About you

We love that you bring:

  • Strong understanding of the evolving TV ecosystem, including linear TV, streaming, Connected TV, and video measurement.
  • Experience managing agency relationships and influencing external partners.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into strategic recommendations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with other Marketing teams, Creative, Analytics, Finance, and Executive Leadership.
  • Highly organized with excellent project management skills and attention to detail.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Years of experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in TV, Connected TV, video media, or integrated media planning.

Technical skills

  • Experience working:
    • Within a media agency supporting national TV/CTV clients.
    • Substitute experience would be in-house for a consumer brand managing TV and video investments.
