• Conduct assessments and evaluate clients' mental health needs, continually adapting treatment plans based on their evolving requirements.
• Facilitate open communication with supervisors, team members, and clients' families to discuss progress and insights that enhance individual development.
• Maintain clear documentation of appointments, interventions, and client outcomes by using EMR software, ensuring all information is up-to-date and available for necessary stakeholders.
• Plan and conduct virtual home visits and follow-up consultations to monitor client progress and address ongoing needs.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights and strategies to improve service delivery.
• Organize and deliver training sessions for staff and team members, ensuring they are equipped to effectively implement program plans.
• Act as a liaison between clients and the broader mental health community, seeking to bridge gaps and enhance comprehension of mental health issues.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of training materials and client care strategies in collaboration with senior staff.

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults and youths facing a range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Your expertise in psychological practices will empower clients to overcome their struggles and achieve personal growth, fostering resilience in the face of adversity.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in working with various therapeutic modalities including family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, and substance misuse support.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, able to build rapport with diverse populations.
• Proficiency in utilizing EMR software and technology to enhance service delivery.

• Specialization in trauma counseling, family dynamics, or substance use disorders is highly valued.
• Prior experience working in a telehealth environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies enhances candidate suitability.
