Job description

We serve over 2,000 customers, including airlines, original equipment manufacturers, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) providers. GA Telesis Ecosystem™ is a vast global network spanning 54 locations in 30 countries on six continents. At GA Telesis, our core business is integrated aviation solutions, and our mission is customer success.

The Aircraft Painter plays a key role in maintaining high-quality standards while complying with GA Telesis processes. This role will be responsible for preparing the article for paint-related operations by performing tasks safely within schedule while meeting quality expectations.
**Important Notice
 Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Mask, sand, and prepare the article for paint application.
  • Apply glaze and sealing compounds in preparation for the final painting.
  • Operate and maintain all types of preparation and priming equipment.
  • Mix paints and primers.
  • Perform leading-edge sealant work in final detail.
  • Comply with all safety and housekeeping policies.
  • Use personal protective equipment.
  • Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned.
  • Comply with Paint shop standard practices.
  • Comply with hazardous material disposal procedures.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Able to pass Pulmonary Function Test to obtain respirator certification.
  • Ability to use tools, equipment, and materials in the aircraft painting process.
  • Must have a great attitude and team player mentality and be detailed oriented- quality and precision-focused.
  • The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram or schedule form.
  • Two years of related experience. Relevant experience gained in commercial/automotive refinishing is acceptable.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
